London. July 2012. The British capital prepares for the greatest show in its history - the Olympic Games.

Alex Marden and Jack Rogan, operatives for Unit Five, NATO’s Black Ops specialists, have been working undercover to secure the Games against a lethal terror group plotting to destroy the spectacle.

Jack uncovers a conspiracy – a sleeper insider the security team who is working with the terrorists to release a deadly nerve gas inside the Stadium itself.

But no one in the security services will listen to him.

With hours to go before the Olympics opens, Jack and Alex go rogue – working solo to prevent an attack that would kill the 80,000 spectators as well as the world leaders gathered in the Stadium for the Opening Ceremony.

Soon their own lives are on the line in a deadly race against time - in which no one can be trusted.

I mainly picked this up because it's a fairly short book. When I'm on vacation, I like to read short works. This one is action packed and kept me engaged from beginning to end.
My complaint is that it's the typical story where the hero does his own thing and puts himself in peril to save the day. think this author pulls it off since he came up with a good story line.

Black Ops Olympics edition by Matt Lynn Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

A thriller based on a plot to blow up the Olympic Games is such an obvious idea I am surprised that no one else thought of it. Matt Lynn is a new writer for me, but he has done a first-class job of creating a strong, belivable storyline. Good characters and excellent writing. Almost as exciting as the Olympics themselves.
Another excellent installment in Matt Lynn's Black Ops series
Jack and Alex are growing all the time as action adventure heroes, and in this story they are battling against a terror plot to destroy the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games (Danny Boyle may be able to ruin the ceremony all on his own though). Great story, with a clever twist, and lots of atmosphere. Enjoyed
This was an okay read. I tried it because I thought it would be more interesting but it was just ok.
